I just switched from a T-Mobile 7100T to a Sprint 8703e. I am so in love with this phone. I was comfortable typing wordy emails with my 7100. But I was tired or writing see instead of are, bit instead of but and even Dave might come out Face.

This screen is amazingly beautiful (although i think the 7130 is also). I also had terrible voice quality from my 7100T (two different ones). Everything has been great with the 8703e. I am looking forward to some of the 4.2 enhancements, too. Will that also be available for the 7130?

Dave

i went from the 7105t to the 8700g due to a hatred for suretype and have not looked back - sure the keys are small and close together on the 8700, but your thumb finds a comfortable spot to hit the keys with and taps away.

Default No

i would not switch because i do not like the smaller key size of the qwerty keyboard.

Wirelessly posted (7130e: BlackBerry7130e/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/105)

I actually love my 7130e so far. I have had a full keyboard BB and now this one. I don't have a problem with suretype at all. After a few days you get use to it and it gets use to the words you type. If the 7130e had a camera it would be my dream device.

I have both an 8700c and a 7130c. I much prefer the keyboard and SureType on the 7130c. It has larger keys than the 8700 and I have no problems with typos from SureType. Granted, one must be patient at the beginning while you become accustomed to the way it operates, however during that same time frame it's learning the words you use and how you use them. Now after just one month with my 7130c I will be selling my 8700c as it slows me down a great deal.

I simply handle too many emails to have to struggle with a qwerty keyboard that seems to have been designed with style being more important than function. The 7290 has a great keyboard and by the photo's it appears that RIM has returned to building a keyboard for functionality first. Even though it appears that it is not as wide as the 8700c, I have learned through first hand experience how important the shape of the keys are.
