The info is in your manual also. It really depends on the theme you're using, if you're using an icon theme, Profiles will be the speaker-looking icon. If you're using a list theme, I don't remember, as I'm using the Zen theme and I don't have my Pearl with me right now.

Hi,

I have custom ringtones for certain individuals in my address book. Is it possible to make the SMS tune match the ringtone for these individuals?

Thanks,
Ed

I just wish the ringtones didn't HAVE to be in the ringtone folder. I still haven't gotten around to transfering some of my songs from the music folder to my ringtone folder.

They don't have to be. If you go into the music folder and highlight a song, then press menu and select 'set as phone tune'.

Question Profiles Isssue

I have three email accounts on my Pearl and would like a different notification for each so that I know from which email account a new message is from. However, when I change the notification sound for one account, the Pearl changes it for all three accounts. Anyone seen this problem or have a solution?

Thanks

Well, that's just it. You can only do that for the 'phone tune' not individual contacts or message/e-mail/ etc alerts. If you want custom anything else it has to be in the ringtone folder.

Buts that's the point, I tried to save loads of various .wav files and Mp3s to the ringtone folder on the media card and my Pearl just refuses to play ball and "makes" them go into the music folder!
There must be a way other wise why have a ringtone folder on the media card?
