We have a client that have 8 Blackberry's (model 7250's from Verizon) All PC's use the latest Desktop redirector w/ Outlook XP and Exchange 5.5 SP2 (I know, somewhat old software on the back end).
2 Problems that we come across frequently.
Receiving emails: For some unknown reason the BB's stop receiving messages from the redirector. The redirector simply shows X amount of messages pending to handheld until the unit is physically docked. The wireless is turned on and still no go. Sometimes reboots of the pc help, some times they don't. Either way it's frustrating.
2nd prob----
Sending Emails: One of the blackberry's at least once per week gets the dreaded "Decryption Error" message when sending an email from the BB. Running the encryption key regenerator has no effect on this issue. Every single time we must shut down the the DR and the Manager, run DBCLEAN.EXE (managed to snag a copy), clear out the database and resync (which also prompts for the key regeneration) and everything works fine after that. Again, this happenes about once a week and we are all at a loss as to what to do. Both Verizon and RIM have been no help with this problem.
Any help to 1 or both these problems would be appreciated.
