Now if I can just get all the stuff to work BEFORE the 21st

It has been talked about many times. It is likely a picture of the 88XX that DOES have WiFi. The one that are being intoduced for Cingular do not have WiFi.

Interesting...the build that Boy Genius had (with WIFI) was v4.1.28 platform 2.3.0.22. Perhaps unlocking the WIFI capability is nothing more than a software issue?

I very much like my blue 8700g from T-Mo, but I am sure that this looks amazing in the blue color. I cannot wait to see pictures from users on the forums with it.

I think you need to remain calm and resolve yourself to the fact that anyone outside of Texas will be waiting till Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. It is only a few more days. If there were people getting them in NY, it would have posted here yesterday.
