Default Google Calender Sync help for a newbie

Please Login to Remove!

I've been searching this site for some help, but it looks like old posts. I'm hoping something has developed now that's easier.

I have an 8900 through tmobile. At this time I do NOT have a data plan (internet access). I want to sync my google calendar to my phone though the bb desktop manager via USB. Can someone help me do this? Is it possible? My computer does not have Outlook so I'm hoping I can use some type of app to help me sync.

This has been beaten to death I'm sure, but I can't find how to do it.

I don't know about AstraSync, but I do know that you need some sort of data plan to sync OTA with Google Calendar. Otherwise, the data charges will be extremely high.

Only three ways to get calendar items into a Blackberry:
1) Direct entry into the BB calendar (no syncing)
2) Over-the-air sync (requires BIS or BES plan)
3) USB sync between Outlook and Blackberry (requires Outlook)

So, choose your poison.
