Default BB managing outlook (newbie)

Please Login to Remove!

This to you experts is going to be a dopey question and for that I apologise.

A simple problem which I suspect will have a similarly simple solution. I've done a forum search and keep going around in circles. So here goes....

I'd like my BB to have the same folder structure that outlook has and to manage the files (file into folders, deletions etc etc). I can manage my contacts, just not the important part, email. (I have a 7290).

All that I can find is a reference to manual synchronisation but no definitive guide. Or, am I missing the blatantly obvious.

Any/all help greatly appreciated.

Cheers,
Matt

I believe you need to have a BES plan to be able to replicate your Outlook folders. Wait for an expert to chime in.

Unless you are on a corporate server, or have rented space on a hosted version of the BB corporate server, it can't be done.

You probably do need a BES. If you do then get on your blackberry and go to your email application, go to options, then go to email settings, then click on the track wheel and select folder redirection. Once you're there all your folders will appear, might have to expand your main mailbox. You can do that just by clicking the track wheel and selecting expand. You can then go through and check which folders you want. Click the track wheel and select change option and it will check the folder to sync. Like I said you probably need a BES. Hope that works.
