Default Stacking Apps Like Files?

Please Login to Remove!

I apologize if this has been asked before, but is there a way to stack applications or files on the BB like folders? Basically, if I have several programs (such as MyUtils) that I want to place in a general folder, in order to reduce my home screen to maybe 5 general folders witt 5 apps each, is this possible?

Should be no problem to create a new folder and just move apps into it. Isn't "Add Folder" a menu option on your apps screen?

No, I don't have that. It could be because of my theme (Smoothie). Is that a generic option? Or, is there another menu that I don't know about?

I'm sure it could be theme related and/or OS related. Try the default theme and check it out.

I just checked the other themes that I have, and none offered this as an option. It would really be nice to make folders at will.

I also checked to see if the "Voice Notes" app was available in other themes, but it only seems to be an option within Messenger.

Maybe I'm talking about a different key. Which key is the menu hard key for the 8703e?

I'm not very familiar with the 8703. If you're in your main applications screen and alt-click, does a menu pop up with things like Hide and Show All? If so, is Add Folder on that list?

Yes, we are talking about the same menu. I checked on several different themes and each one offers these options:

Move Icon
Hide Icon
Show All
Switch Application

This is boo.
