Question anyone blackberry savvy???

*****So I've recently gotten a new Bold replacing my defective Bold (PHONE 2). The first one I had was defective (PHONE 1), Rogers sent me a new one but there were some hardware issues and finally they're sending me another one (PHONE 3). *****

I backed up my original phone to be restored on the new device. Everything went well and was restored correctly. I was expecting to painfully re-add everyone on my BBM. But to my surprise, SOMEHOW, everyone on my contact list from my original phone was on my new phone and was able to contact me through with BBM despite the fact that I haven't added them to my new device or provided them with my new PIN.

I backed up the new phone and realized it had some hardware problems so requested for a new Bold. I am required to send back the phone that was sent to me, and keep my original until I receive another Bold from Rogers. The problem with this is that for some strange reason(to me), my contacts have the PIN belonging to the new phone (PHONE 2). Once again, I didnt give the PIN of PHONE 2 to anybody, and just as I turn it on, my contacts from my BBM are messaging me on PHONE 2.

Since I need to return PHONE 2, I have to use PHONE 1 in the mean time until I receive PHONE 3 from Rogers. I need to somehow make my contacts on my BBM have my PIN from PHONE 1, rather then PHONE 2...until I finally get the phone from Rogers PHONE 3

Is there anyone blackberry savvy enough to help me with this problem? or is there a simple solution to this...?

Chillin is right all you should have to do is 'change device' in BIS and everything automatically updates (not just email). If all of your BBM contacts are on Device 1 and you update that info... the pin of device 1 should automatically update on all of your contacts' devices as well. Rim has made switching devices very convenient.

I'll try to get my network reset after I do a "change device".

Hopefully it'll work..
