so i sent 2 emails without incident last night, woke up this morning and the boogy man must have snuck in my room and jammed the wheel, it rotates, but will not click in. i cannot do anything! (bb 7250)

i have a list of short cuts, but, does anyone know if there is a shortcut to replicate the wheel click? i cannot change profiles, delete emails, send emails, etc.

Ouch! A coworker had the same thing happen. I thought about giving her a Shortcut cheat sheet, but then I remember she had 'serious' trouble installing iTunes....

We had to purchase a new handheld for her. For the sake of time and energy, I would just stop by your local store and see if they can fix it?

thought about it, but i am an aerospace engineer, if i cant figure it out i doubt some 20 year old vzw sales person in the store can. (no offense). the real thing that gets me is, i am slated to receive the 8830 on Monday! lol, figures.

lol. The irony there kills me.

I wouldn't risk taking it to the store if you are getting the new device on Monday. Knowing VZW's reps, they'd give you a new 7250 and extend your contract for another 2 years.

does anyone know if its possible to just get the menu within a message so i can at least SEND emails?!?!

I had the problem on my 8700 and it seems there is no way to send an email without the ability the use the track wheel.

Ditto. No other way, other than with a bluetooth keyboard, you can.
