I think my wife only gets mad at me when I am in another room and I hear my BB alert and I move faster than I would if she called me from another room.

But just for the record, I do prefer my wife over any BlackBerry.

I check my BlackBerry last thing before I go to sleep, and first thing when I wake up. My cat doesn't mind at all.

Spouse has a Blackberry. We are six time zones apart. We do auto-off/on to keep the other from waking to messages all night. So her messages wake me at 0500 in Frankfurt and mine wake her at 0630 in Ohio. I don't know what we will do once she moves here next month, but I suspect that she has more friends than do I. She will probably keep me awake with the Blackberry Glow...

Kinda what happened in my household. The Mrs. made some choice comments about my BB fixation, until she got a PDA of her own. Now she understands.
