I am finding myself in need of a Electrical calculator more often then before.
Like the "Ugly's Book" I need something that will allow me to figure out amperage for sizing conductor size, breaker size, etc. I don't need to figure phase angles, or lead lag of volt/current but the more practical applications of say calculating amperage of a three phase motor for 480, 4160, 13.8Kv would be nice.

IF a calculator is not available a reference book with tables and formulas would work then it would be a matter of switching apps to go from reference to the built in calculator.

Any ideas out there would be greatly appreciated!

there are such calculators for windows mobile and palm os but i havnt seen one for blackberry.

this is one link i had bookmarked long ago, has all types of calculators though not related to your need but just worth sharing

Thanks...... I just submitted a request for such app to another site....forgot which one but it was mentioned here...they had a graphing calculator so I thought these eggheads may be the right folks...lol....appreciate the link.....

Nothing there for me yet but his willingness to explore such a model was encouraging. I also bookmarked the smartphone link also...thanks you guys are great over here........
