Default "Wireless Reconciliation" via policy

Please Login to Remove!

We have had a problem with a policy and have ended up with a set of Blackberry devices with their Mail/Calendar & Contact wireless reconciliation set to off.

If there a way to turn this back on using a policy or is a manual task?

That's a manual option that needs to be set from the handheld.
You can't force it from BES.

In the web admin console, if you go to a specific user and click on

"Default Services"

and then choose the

"Organizer data synchronization" tab

You can switch the Address book sync on and off. And on the

"Services" tab

you can switch e-mail redirection on and off.

I am not aware of a possibility to switch calendar sync on and off.

That's from the server side, the user themselves can still turn it off.

And...?

The original poster did not ask to lock it for the users. Just setting it centrally instead of each user having to do it manually on the phone.

But what you offered will not do that. It won't change anything on the handheld.
Setting from BES will only give the user the ability to toggle it on/off from the handheld.
It won't actually force the change on the handheld... which is what the OP was looking to do.
