Wow, this was a very promising app, especially for those of us in Canada. It's a real shame that those of us with CDMA cannot benefit from it. I guess I'll just have to wait patiently until the day that CDMA gets some useage.

Congrats on an awesome piece of programming!!! This is definitely more than a Hello World.

I don't know if this is possible, but I noticed the tracker doesn't track txt msgs (which is great!), but I've noticed it DOES track MMS msgs as data, at least on the outbound meter... Is there a way to distinguish between MMS and APN traffic?

Thanks again for the awesome app!

Generally spoken: NO. Sorry for that. This application is taking into account the raw IP traffic on the air side if it is IP. SMS is no IP but MMS is. At least that's my understanding ...

Makes sense to me Is a work around then to stop the counter, send the mms msgs then restart the counter?

I've got a Verizon Wireless Pearl 8130 on BIS, and I seem to be having a problem using the application. I've had it loaded for about a day now, and it hasn't shown any data usage. I've tried deleting it (OTA download) and installing it again (Desktop upload), but it still registers nothing.

Since the product works for everyone else, it's clearly not a problem with the software, but does anyone have any suggestions as to which settings might be improperly set?

As far as I know, this app only currently works for GSM phones, not CDMA phones.

Just because *I* am getting tired of seeing this - the author has answered multiple times that the RIM API does not support CDMA, there's nothing he can do at this time. This was asked and answered throughout this thread over and over.

Please excuse my ignorance.

That's unfortunate to hear that CDMA continues to show its shortcomings. (edit: *shortcomings surrounding the CDMA platform)

axel, i think i found a bug on MiniMoni, its drain 8820 battery so fast, so the 8820 can't even last a day, i have it test on two 8820, but it make no problem on 8800 (have test it also)

on other bb i test no problem found (battery problem), 8700, 8300, 8320, 8120, 8800, and 8100 no problem concerning battery life found

all bb operate on the same network

Could I ask you to activate "Show cycle elapsed time" in preferences and post me what the figure just below the graphic is (in green). It should be between 0-20 not more.

One other thought: The firmware releases are different? 4.3 on 8820 and 4.2 and earlier on the others?

just finished re-installed minimoni on 8820 again, and here are the value,
it's variable range between 36 - 44, so it's over 20 as you mention before, on the other 8820 it,s range between 50 - 150 (when there is a data activity), when idle it's show normal cycle time 4-8

by the way can you tell me what is cycle elapsed time ?
