Folks, stop pretending she's anywhere near hot. I mean are you serious??? I've seen her in person. Her skin is BAD. You can even tell that in some of her horrid films. She sounds like white trash when you talk to her. Maybe I've been living in this town too long, but the only attractive part of that picture is her Blackberry that she, in all likelihood, does not even know how to use. lol...

Anyway, that Pakistan announcement, was that for real, or just more BS??

I'm still hoping for 10/17.

I wouldn't of known who it was, nor do I care, if it wasn't mentioned in the thread. But of the two things that pop out at you, one isn't the phone. In fact, I wouldn't have noticed the phone either!

My at&t rep said to me that it's a go, and 100% to look for it on the day after never,
Or did he say the before never? Can't be sure, but one of days we should see it land.

I think that AT&T should do whatever they need to do and launch the Bold before Verizon launches the Storm. My contract with AT&T is up this month and I am seriously considering moving over to Verizon and the Storm if the Bold is not released real soon now.

I'd be sure that Verizon isn't going to cripple the GPS in the Storm (I assume it has GPS) like other phones. For me Google Maps is the killer phone application especially since they added mass transit information like bus schedules.

For myself personally it isn't going to matter, but I've got a feeling if Verizon launches the Storm before AT&T launches the Bold they are going to take a MAJOR hit in people switching over to Verizon, especially with all the "delays" in launching the Bold.

My contract has been up with AT&T for about 6 months now, I am really excited about the Bold, I might overlook the lack of WiFi on the Storm and get one if it was anyplace but Verizon, Even Sprint.

Actually, I learned that AT&T is waiting until a few months after VZW releases the Storm. Then, they will consider releasing the Bold, to ensure that more people buy a Storm first.

But more likely, I've heard that AT&T is going to be safe and keep testing the Bold until the T-Mobile Blackberry 10000 comes out.

My hunch is that the Storm will beat the Bold to market because VZN has a far superior 3G network up and running, and ATT doesn't. ATT may claim to have excellent 3G service in a lot of places where is really is not as advertised. They wanted to bandaid that by switching people to 2G but as we all know that only works some of the time. I don't think they really knew how many connection problems people would have when a ton of 3g phones were put online. Their hurry to sell 3g phones has hurt their business rep, and they'll delay the Bold as long as it takes to fix the network. I'm guessing they won't release it this year at all. It isn't like the Bold has a big holiday gift appeal anyway like an iPod does. That's because a Bold comes with a couple thousand dollar contract committment.

Maybe I am wrong, but doesn't AT&T make the majority of their money from contracts and not from the actual device? It would make sense to me that they have their network as stable as possible before worrying about releasing the Bold before the holiday season.

Agreed. I find the phone way more interesting.
