hi!

i have a BB Curve 8310. During the software update my internet connection failed and i needed to restart my computer.

after restart i tried to continue the software update but i received this massage "BB desktop manager cannot communicate whit the connected BB device"

at this time my phone is not working!

what can i do now? can anybody help me please?

The bad news is - you need to start from the scratch.

The good news is - its an easy fix, and you should be able to restore all your data from the last back-up.

What error code is on the BB? Pull the battery and wait for a couple of minutes then re-insert it. then connect to the Pc then run DM.
And yes it takes time so wait for it to finish. Also do not try to do this without the PC connected to power. Expect to let it work, dont use the PC for anything else.
