Default HELP!! Calendars and Time Zones

Please Login to Remove!

Hello and thank you in advance for any help!

I have the blackberry curve 9330 and I am having a couple problems with it.

1) When I add something to my calendar - the default setting is facebook - which never was before -- how do i get it back to having outlook as my default?

2) the time zones keep changing on me when i'm at home - eastern time - central time - and trust me - i'm no where near eastern time. is there a way to change that as well?

Please help - i am getting rid of this pain in my neck in a few months but need to keep my sanity until then........

Thanks!!

I don't know what version of OS you're running but on my OS version 5:

1) options > default services

2) options > date and time

I wish it were that easy. I have the blackberry curve 9330 - does that help? There are no options like that when I go into OPTIONS - I have Sounds and Ringtones, networks and connections, display, typing and input, device, call management, security, accessibility and third party applications

Try going to Advanced Options from Options. I have the 9330 too and it is there....

Where are you accessing Options from? You should be using the "Wrench" icon on your main desktop screen, yes?

I am afraid to suggest this, but usually you go to Options > About and on the third line or so you should see something that begins with v like v5.0.0.913....

I don't know where anything is hidden in OS 6. See what others say or dig around....

BTW I am going to guess you installed or activated Facebook just before this issue popped up. It was common as FB took over as default without warning, just by installing and the fix has always been to manually change the Default Services.
