Since I am getting my first BB smartphone, I am curious about the $30 per/month data plan. Does that plan include web browsing as well as e-mail or do I have to spend more for that?

Browsing the internet on my phone is not important to me. I had that with my RAZR and didn't use it. I don't do much text messaging either.

My primary reason for this phone is to keep all of my contacts with me and be able to check and send e-mail.

The plan includes unlimited data (email, internet, most IM programs), along with unlimited text messaging, Sprint Navigation, and Sprint TV.

No need for any other plans

Unless access to a corporate Exchange server is a requirement. Then the $30 will not work; it is only BIS capable, not BES.
