Since customer service isn't fulfilling orders, can I call Telesales tomorrow when they open and order it through them? What is the phone number I need to use? Do they honor early upgrades, or is that only something that can be done through CS or In Store?

I just tried that number... which routed me to the California Internet Sales Support... which couldn't do anything for my Massachusetts based order. I have to call the East Coast based center 1-800-711-7773 tomorrow at 8am since they're closed today.

So for those of you on the West coast... try 888-924-7935!

oh i forgot to add, at least for the west coast, the units are shipping from ontario, california (outside of LA), so even if it is second day or ground.. it should get to most places in CA pretty quick..

It Does support MMS, says so at blackberry site. Glad to here they are shipping from Ontario, Ca, since i live in CA no need to overnight, would be a waste of money.

I called Customer Service this morning and they told me Texas. I asked about upgrading to overnight shipping and they told me it will ship tomorrow via FedEx and will arrive to me here in Boston by Wednesday so there's no need to upgrade.

Verizon always delivers within a couple of business days.

Everyone needs to chill out about the shipping method

I think i read over at blackberry cool, or if it was engadget that showed some pics with some of blackberry's instant messaging clients they're prepping to roll out later. Regardless, we should be seeing them real soon, now that they have covered the 8700 on both cdma and GSM tech. Ahhh Blackberry nirvana! Now I wonder... if the Push to talk function update they have for the GSM 8700's will also apply to the CDMA carriers too? heh, that would definitely be interesting to see for sprint/nextel and even verizon customers too!

I simply ordered the 8703 by calling the 800# provided above. They bounded me between a few folks, but it's officially ordered. (have order #)

Q: Accessories? Same as 8700 I presume? Cases are simple, I'd think an extra battery is the same as well?

be careful, some people have mad minor problems buying accessories with 8700s. Tmobiles 87 is slightly differently shaped than the Cingular 87. I would wait a week or two and see some trial fits..

Here is my experience with getting a tracking number from VZW.

ME: "Hi, can I get a tracking number for my order?"

VZW: "What is your order number?"

ME: "xxxxxxxxx"

VZW: "I don't have that yet, its being processed. Please (Ding Dong) call tomorrow."

ME: "Never mind, FedEx is at my door, thanks for your help"

This happen to me when I ordered my 7130e when it came out...
