microfiber...or go buy an anti-glare screen protector which pretty much eliminates fingerprints

Back in the 72xx days, the devices used to ship with a small black screen cleaner in the box. I still have several and have been using one on my 9530.

I never took the original "sticker" off the touch screen, even though I bought a package of screen protectors, so I've been using a cotton t-shirt for the most part and it seems to work.

I use the lens wipes they sell for eyeglasses. There's a little alcohol in them that help to clean off any finger oils that get on there. I clean the keyboard and the rest of the phone with them, too.

I use a Blackberry Screen Cleaner patch as shown here (mine is black and just says "Blackberry"). I got it at a trade show that RIM was giving away as a freebie. Works great! I stick it on the middle of the back of my Bold. It's raised enough so the camera housing which protrudes slightly does not rest on the tabletop. It sits on the patch so it does double-duty.

Any LCD Screen Cleaner will work beautifully. Any photo grade lens cleaning liquid will work. Isopropyl alcohol (drugstore rubbing alcohol) will work but I would not recommend it as it may damage internal components. All the above suggested clothes: microfiber (best) well washed cotton undershirt (must be white or dye can bleed), or the little piece of white cloth at the bottom inside of a necktie (usually silk unless you are really cheap). Don't use spit (I am not kidding, I have seen people try this. Aside from being gross, it leaves a film). 73

Actually, if you use grain alcohol, it works great. AT 195 proof, it is actually purer than the drug store version. BTW drug store alcohol is already at 10% concentration, so what you are doing is reducing it to 5%. I can go with that.
