Default Case for 8100?

Please Login to Remove!

Hey all,
what's a good case for the Pearl? I hate the bulky leather cases, and I have always liked the plastic cases for my previous BBs...but I want to maintain the tiny size and still fit it in my pocket, but hopefully one that has a magnet to lock her up in my pocket.

The Best bet yet is Best Skin Ever and the Rubberdized from Seidio.

NEW SUPER SLIM RUBBERIZED CASE FOR 8100 - CSR2YBB8100N-BK

Best Skins Ever RIM BlackBerry 8100 Pearl Total Body Skin

like a lot of people on this forum, they like to protect their stuff. I went through a couple of leather cases but it always made it look so bulky. Then the day came that my rubberdized case from seidio came in and i fell in love. it was like my baby got protection.....or something along those lines, and it looked beautiful! i still had on teh original stickers that came with the phone and that was wearing out so i got my best skin ever and applied it today, in fact just finished and i gotta tell you, wow.
this thing looks sexy.
and it was so easy, i was so scared because of teh soap and stuff like that, but damn it looks great.
no wonder people are buying this combo more and more.
it works great.

I don't really like my BSE...idk for some reason it seems to collect a lot of "gunk" around the edges and it makes a "squeeky" noise when you rub it on your ear...+it slides very easily. plus with my phone clip it left the skin discolored :S

While it's a little on the large side I've been stowing my pearl in a soft sleeve which came with a pair of sunglasses. Why? When the pearl is in the sleeve I can rub it around a few times and the sleeve cleans it up nice and shiny, removing all finger prints and anything else on it without scratching it. The sleeve also protects the pearl when stowed in my pocket. I just wish I could find a sleeve made out of the same material (but a wee bit smaller) so it would be a perfect fit because this concept is actually a pretty decent solution.

I agree. I have a Protech from protechyouripod.com on mine and it rules! They are both made from the same material. BSE is less expensive but the Protech has a lifetime warranty. I recommend either of them if you're looking for something that won't change to look of our phone while keeping it scratch free.

They say that once that skin is on it's kinda difficult to take off. Hence, how do you do a reset if you need to pull the battery?
