Great News! Now, as everyone is going to ask. I have purchased 2 rubberized cases and obviously are unusable with both my 1250 and 2400 batteries. Are there any kind of promotions for previous case purchasers/current new battery owners? Thank you!

Yes indeed.

I assume you have seen the butcher job I did on one of my old
Seidio cases, in a fit of desperation.

It looks like a prototype from the fifties.

I just ordered the battery cover for my normal-battery pearl, cant wait to have halfway loud ringtones, I will not understand for the life of me why they didnt make slits or holes there... oh well, seidio took care of that for me.

Well one only has to look at my hatchet job to know my answer.

Like I said before, I think a full cover on the back of the 2400 battery will make the phone way too thick.

I suspect if you make it without the cutout there will be lots of unhappy buyers once they get the case in the mail and install it.

I agree....It'd be nice to see a prototype of one that covers the whole thing but I don't think I'd want the phone any thicker than it is now. I do like the feel of the BB with the 2400mah battery. It makes it easy to hold on to. I haven't used my oem battery since I got the 2400.

Edit: I just bought the regular rubberized holster, too. Dang!

What I'd like to have is a Shieldzone or BSE type skin for the 2400mah battery cover. With the rubberized case then the BB wouldn't fit in my leather desktop stands.....There's just never a perfect solution!

At $50 a pop these things start to add up.

I'm using the normal rubberized case with the 1250 battery and it seems to work. It's not as tight as I would like and the speaker is muffled but to replace it would mean I have over $100 invested in a cover and a holster.
