My 9500 Storm always opens pending messages after removing it from the holdster and typing the password. Is there a way to make it not display the pending messages?
I want to unlock the phone and see that I have X new messages, but enter the SMS folder whenever I feel like it, not right away.

The device will always open the most recent received message if you remove the from the holster within about 15-20 seconds of it's receipt.

If you wait a bit longer (30 secs or so), the most recent will not open.

well actually mine does that initially after a reboot but after a day or so it stops working a bug which in my opinion is a feature .... pretty sad you can't disable it for good ....
