USING 7130e Blackberry -

When I sync my blackberry with my desktop manager I have been getting the error below, but when I uninstall the software and reinstall it's fine.

ERROR: Unable to get data from an outlook or MS Exchange record. Lack of network access to MS Exchange Server can cause this problem.
Retry and if problem persists, please refer to the on-line help top.

Any suggestions?

Here the easy answer

turn all the blackberry applications (desktop manager and redirector) off on your computer
remove (or rename) the following folder : C:\Documents and Settings\(YOURUSERNAME)\Application Data\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Intellisync

restart the desktop manager, synch

should solve the prob

I do not have this file on my computer. I am having the same problem. .......and yes i changed (yourusername) to the proper name.

I have a BlackBerry 8700c and every time I try sync my calendar it give me an error in C:\Documentand Setting\(user)\Loacalsetting\Temp\(xxxxxx).TXT
