Either should work just fine.

Default my viewpoint

Wow, 17,000 views. I just wanted to know when the 8800 was coming out.

I,ve had my 8800 now for about a week. I do like it. I love the screen. I am dissapointed with the keyboard. I agree with a few of the previous writers that the small keyboard does take away from the functionality of the device.

Angry Can not get 8800 from T-mobile

That is rediculos. Today went to T-mobole store, they do not have it. Was told to get it trough the web. On the web can not upgrade because it's not listed for upgrade, called support they do not even know that they have this phone for sale. The girl told me they do not carry it anymore, when I directed her to T-mobile website, she was surprised and told me I can not upgrade, only to 8700 or Perl
Sucks! Any Ideas?

still like t-mobile, even though they are selling this 8800 with a poorly designed keyboard.
also, my girlfriend who works for tmobile dumped me because i was critical of the 8800.

i like my 8800 keyboard, all the tmobile people are going through the same things the cingy customers went through. Give it some time and many of you will find that its a good design, just different. Also, there are no surprises at this point.

The 8800 is a fine machine. It does have a few bugs, not many. One of them is the keyboard. They really could have done a better job on that. Its actually harder to use than the 7200 series.

Default Available for upgrades again..

Looks like it's available again for upgrade from the T-Mobile web site..

I'm still trying to hold out for the 8300 - so no order for me, but thought the group might like to know

I was looking at the keyboard for the 8300. Looks much better and functional than the 8800.

Default New Faceplate (Free)

I heard from a few people over the weekend that T-Mobile is replacing the faceplates on the 8800's. I guess the new faceplate has the same screen and a much larger keyboard. All u have to do is go to any local store. It takes 2 minutes.

Can anyone verify that they actually received a new faceplate for the TMO 8800? If so, please post a quick review of the differences. Thanks!

I don't know what all the fuss is about. I came from an 8700 and I haven't missed a step on typing on the 8800. Haven't had a problem yet. Also, the squeeking and everything else that people have had problems with, no issues over here. I'm VERY happy with the 8800.

Pictures of the new faceplate? Do you just go into a T-Mobile store and request for it?
