Just yesterday I tried the TM version on my Cingular 8800 running Cingular OS. Had to reboot the device in order to login successfully but it worked.

Anywho, I tried your link with the 5.1.0.20 version of TN installed and it displayed version 5.1.0.29 ready for download. However, as soon as I uninstalled version 5.1.0.20 and proceeded to that link, I was displayed with version 4.7 download link. So, I am redownloading 5.1.0.20 and hopefully upgrade to 5.1.0.29.

Phew, will update in a few.

Crap....it doesn't take SureType for typing in addresses. You have to Multi-Tap it all in! What's up with that?

Anyone notice any differences in v5.1.0.20 and 5.1.0.29?

Running 29 on my curve and an option for "GPS source" magically appeared in settings. My 20 build didnt have that.

Yep, works well. Actually now that I think this may have been a browser cache issue, I am uninstalling it and trying the install path directly from the main menu using the install icon. I think we can get to the 5.1.0.29 release directly from there.

Doh, just noticed the "..ota/at" link which you already posted on your first post. Which is what the icon points to. So looks like it works. Thanks again for the heads up.

I personally prefer a clean install, but not necessary in this case.

On a side note. I am downloading the program 5.1.0.29 onto my 8700c that is running BB 4.1 OS. Looks like it is working just fine.

more later.

from Telenav forums.

Blackberry 8100 "Pearl"
Blackberry 8300 "Curve" (New Addition)
Blackberry 8700c
Blackberry 8800

TeleNav 5.1 has several updates from the previous version, including 3D Maps, Traffic Updates, and a new interface.

NOTE: You will need to have an external GPS receiver paired to your phone through Bluetooth in order to use TeleNav the Blackberry 8100, 8300, or 8700c phones.

Before downloading TeleNav GPS Navigator for either of these Blackberry devices, please make sure your Blackberry Operating Software is up to date by checking with your wireless carrier directly.

If you have a previous version of TeleNav GPS Navigator on your phone, you will need to remove it from the phone first by following the de-install directions. If this is your first time downloading the application, skip to "Installing TeleNav GPS Navigator 5.1".

I downloaded 5.1 over the top of 4.7 and it worked ok. TeleNav's instructions say to remove 4.7 first (I didn't read the instructions, obviously.) It's up to you.

Downloaded .29 over .20 – rebooted – received a “523 app error Reset” error BlackBerry Search Results – reset – prayed it wasn’t bricked, held breath, prayed again – rebooted just fine with no errors.

Funny - I downloaded from the /tn link and it worked fine. But I had a problem with AT&T renewing my account. Just messing around, I downloaded from the /at link (I know it's the same thing), but when I loaded the app, it kept trying to download additional language files even though I selected English. Then the browser would tell me that the page wasn't found. Both were the same version 5.1.0.29.
I re-dowloaded from the /tn link and all was good.
