I've read many posts about case recommendations and have narrowed down my choices to a horizontal Gizmo or Fortte leather case. Links to the models I'm interested in are below.

I have a few remaining questions I hope a current owner could answer...

1) Typically, how tight of a fit are these cases? I don't want buttons being pushed and don't want to use keyboard lock.

2) Is there a soft felt material on the interior that will protect from screen scratches?

3) Are there any known issues with magnet placement and/or interference with the BB (i.e. Bluetooth interference)?

Magnets won't interfere with the device.

I suggest the official RIM leather holster. It's a little be pricy compared to some others, but well worth it for the proctection and comfort.

This is a nice one...missed it in my searching...thanks.

How tight of a fit? A little loose is OK.
Can the unit face in towards the body?
Snap or magnet closure?

It's a snug fit, but no problems gliding in and out easily. Inside is velvet so it's not going to scratch.
It's designed for the device to face inwards, but the magnet still keeps the screen off if you face it outwards.
The clasp is magnetic and is strong enough to hold it in through quite a lot of jarring, but weak enough that you can quickly pull the device out or flip it open with one finger.
