I have a new BB 9300 and selecting Yes to hide sent messages under messenger will not stick. I still see sent messages and the option always reverts to No. We have a BES server and I've tried different profiles. I didn't have this issue with the BB I gave back yesterday with the same policy set. Any ideas? This should be so simple.

Did you (or the BES admin) check the folder redirection settings for your account on the BES?

Welcome to the world of corporate control. Your IT department is in full control of all options and trying to hide messages or change options may be locked. You do realize the email and other things are monitored by the BES admin. Sometimes a change is made when the BB is upgraded or changed. Ask the admin.

It looks like everyone agress that the issue is on the BES server. I tried 3 different profiles, including the same one that was applied to my old BB, and none made any difference. Once I figure out how to get into the BES server I'll look and see if that feature is locked for my account and I'll let you know. Thanks for responding.

Try a full battery pull. take it out and give it five to ten minutes. I had this issue with a user, same exact thing. Nothing seemed different on the BES settings but the option to hide sent messages would just reset to "no". Did an extended pull and it was good to go upon reboot.

Pulling the battery didn't help. Neither has any profile setting changes. Thanks for the replies.
