Curve Wallpaper Download Thread
Please Login to Remove!
So most of the other handhelds have the download links so I thought I'd add one into this one as many people seem to be wanting wallpapers for the Curve.
A couple of notes: the blackberry home page (accessible from the device browser) has been updated to include the backgrounds formatted specificially for the curve.....
.... But that's not good enough. Let's find some really HOT pictures together... first, can someone post the specs for the size a picture must be in order to be PERFECT for the Curve's screen size?
.... Additionally, let's see who can post the best picture (no personal interest in mind here, hahaa)... what background\wallpaper do you use, what cool ones do you have? What makes the guy on the airplane seat next to you look at it and say wow that's a cool looking device because of the background... post em up guys!

How do you enable the curve to actualy be able to get into the themes page from RIM (the one you mentioned has been updated)?
When I (and other at&t 8300 users) try to get to the Curve themes, we get the following message: "Sorry, themes are currently not supported for your software version".

I was poking around and I had to do a couple things... changed "Default Browser" to "Blackberry Browser" and set "Default" to "Pocket IE Emulation" rather than whatever it was... html or wap or whatever... then changed "Default Home Page" to "Blackberry Home" and waahlaaaaaah it worked... or you could just point to home.blackberry.com ... or is it .net?

Under default brower I only have "media net" and it's also listed twice. Same thing under "default".
Am I missing something? In applications I do have "browser 4.2.2" listed but w/ in the browser option I don't see it. Any ideas?

Same here, Media Net listed twice, same browser version. Still no luck, followed instructions as much as I could, Blackberry home address mentioned does not work though, had to point it to mobile.blackberry.com and still get the message themes are not supported....

mobile.blackberry.com doesn't have any curve themes available yet. No matter how much you change the browser emulation, that site will always know what you're using.
The curve screen size is 320x240 as per the OP's question.
Oh and you'll find over 100 curve wallpapers by following the instructions in my sig

I believe the question was wallpapers, not themes. I guess it just works for me using the BES (blackberry browser) but they're certainly sized for the Curve.

The discussion had gravitated to themes. The wallpapers are available for the curve and will work for anyone using the internet or blackberry browser no matter what the emulation

It would still be fantastic if some people posted downloadable thumbnails of the backgrounds in the right size that they think are nice... for the convenience of all (me) right here in this forum.

If only the signature link actually worked... it's a dead server, might want to contact your provider.

its not a theme. its the standard t-mobile zen theme with the eurotrip wallpaper (second image) applied as the home screen image.

I did. It usually doesn't take so long to propogate though. Especially since I'm seeing hits from BlackBerries again which means that the RIM servers can se the update.
Are you going from internet or BES browser? Try both
