Default how do i disable the autoopen function???

Please Login to Remove!

someone please help. for some reason my new blackberry curve phone now auto opens any text message or email message i receive the second i remove it from theholster (text or email) this wasnt always the case, im worried i messed up a setting. can someone please help??

I thought this happened by default. I know that, after a certain amount of time, it won't open once you remove it from the holster (maybe 2-3 minutes after the message has been received?). If anyone knows anything different speak now...

You can not deactivate it.
It has *always* worked the same way. Wait 5-10 seconds after the message has come in, and it will not open it.

That is what I was thinking. I had looked for a setting of some sort, but didn't find one. So I assumed it was just part of how it worked. Thanks, NJBlackBerry. By the way, how about them Patriots?
