Default 8703e and Pioneer Blue Tooth

Please Login to Remove!

I am also searching for answers on forums geared towards Car audio, but figured since this forum was great help in the post, I would give it a shot.

I recently installed a pioneer D3 in my car w/ a blue tooth adapter. I was told (after I installed it) that Verizon Blackberry does not keep the blue tooth connect. In addition, that you can't transfer the phone book b/c you need a point to push (or something like that) feature.

I was hoping to maybe download something to fix these problems.

Anyone know anything about either of these 2 points?

thanks

I have the pioneer bluetooth kit and Z2 nav deck. I have not been able to get my address book into my deck at all. I think its because RIM locks down most of the bluetooth profile for security reasons.

Also on a side note, I find that the blackberry and the pioneer don't work worth a crap, people always complain about it so I stopped using it.

I work at a car audio/video installation shop and we've installed some pioneer d3s. They work well with a treo I know that. So yeah it might be just a BB thing. For some bluetooth decks, a unlock code must be entered with the remote. Your best bet is just calling pioneer and waiting on hold, then asking them.

I have both an Alltel 8703e and an ATT 8300. The 8300 works with my D3/BTB200 perfectly. Phonebook transfers works and downloaded very quickly compared to the Moto Q I had previously. It even connects to both the bt phone and bt stereo(a2dp) at the same time. The 8703e does not connect to bt stereo(for obvious reasons) but does connect to the bt phone. It will not transfer the phone book.
