We have BES and Alltel for our provider. Would it be possible to setup a BIS too for my Gmail? Does a BIS cost or is that usually a basic service of the carrier?

Yes you can do that. It counts against data. Not sure what your data plan is.

Is this working with Nextel? How is "push Gmail" different than using POP forwarding and pushing that way? This way works like a champ and I don't want to screw it up.

Default Working Great for me

Pardon my newbie ish, I just got the 7130c (cingular) today, I live in the US Virgin islands and Gmail works amazingly well. I just went through the "personal email setup" on the main screen and pout in my gmail account info. I tested it just now and I recieved my test email immediately as well as the response to it in my gmail box.... very very cool

I am not sure if this is bis or pop, at this point I dont even know the diffrence.. Give me a couple weeks and I'll have it all down!

Cheers
