so , my phone says data connection refused . all the time .. i do have a data plan and it was working , and i fixed it , but it decided to die again .. so , anyone have ideas , thnx

i dont have any suggestions of how to fix this. (sorry) but im curious if you got the internet to work without a data plan. and if so how?

the internet isnt really working .. either .but it works as a phone

ahhh ok well thats what mine is i dont have a data plan i just get phone and text. mine used to say data connection refused but now it just says AT&T. But i tried to put a prepaid card in it once and thats ALL it said was data connection refused

Did you consider calling your carrier? When I have problems, I get on the phone with Verizon and, much the time they are able to sort things out. I can't speak about other carriers, but it is in their interest to have your phone working as it generates billing and keeps you from changing carriers. 73

That doesn't sound right. I guess it's possible that it's the SIM card. You're certain that you have a Blackberry data plan?
