Maybe it wont have the low volume issue. I have to wait till the Vzw stores get them in(Feb 15th). Let us know if your ringers are loud.

I dont use any stock ringtones that way i can make them as loud as i want.

I don't use any stock ringtones either! But there obviously is a problem with the volume on the 8830.

Yeah Ive tried the advertised ringtones and they're louder. It just not as loud as my Curve or Pearl.

hmm the ones I have on my pearl are super loud. I haven't had one issue with any of them. I can hear them across my 3000 sq foot house with the kids being noisy and all.
