no, they are the same size as OEM extended battery. OEM extended battery is 1800 mah, Seidio one is 2400 mah, almost 33% more power than OEM extended battery while still maintaining the same size as OEM extended battery.

This may be a stupid question, but would using this battery damager the BB In anyway or would using it invalidate the RIM or Cingular warranty?

Oops, sorry, I didn't realize you were asking about the comparison of the oem extended vs. the Seidio...sorry about that.

Will the 8700C with the extended battery still fit in either the OEM Plastic holster and/or the Seidio Silicone skin and holster?

Seidio current skin for 8700G/8703e does not work with this extended battery. However, we are considering to develop a skin case just for this extended battery. If you are interested in this new skin, please send the email to [email address]

Seidio - Just to clarify something ... The 8700 with super-extended battery will fit properly into your Seidio skin holster without a skin case, correct? Thanks.
