What is the best os to use on an unlocked 8700C for T-mobile?

The "best" is the OS intended for your 8700c.

However, you have the choice to test the others more up-to-date. You may find functions you like and/or glitches you can't stand, so it remains purely a personal decision.

unfortunately T-mobile does not have an OS for the 8700C...not one that i have found.

The 8700C is a Cingular device so the Cingular OS update is the ione officially approved.

However several of the other 4.2 updates should work.

Only you can determine the best for you.

No, but cingular/ATT do, the ones who issued the 8700c
