Default BAS: issues logging in

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

I upgraded from 4.1.7 to 5.0.
Everything works except for the fact that I can't log in to the BAS.

I created a BAS account during the install; the one called admin.

When logging in with those details it looks like it logs in but then never goes to the actually screen where you can manage and create users.

When looking in the BAS logs it said something about user admin logged in.

I think I remember seeing somewhere that passwords with funny characters can cause an issue.
Therefore I changed it by doing the following:

Forgotten your BES administration password? How to reset your BES password | mohamedridha

However now it will not log me in; now it says that login failed.

Is there any way of adding another admin user by running a script or something?
Or do I have to run the setup again?
I'd like to avoid having to do that as they don't want any downtime.

Suggestions?
