It's never been tested with any 3rd mail programs. We might be able to support them eventually, but it'd be too much right now. With the native viewer supporting HTML in 4.5, supporting that would be our primary goal.

Frankly, as a business decision I see the logic of that. For my uses right now, I'm not seeing anything from you in the logs but I continue to get some exceptions. Weird.

OK, I have de-activated (not uninstalled) Smartviewer and that is not fixing the issue. Also stopped Jive Talk, and that is not the issue.

OK, I am pretty certain that the problems that I was having with the application were more a function of my testing logic, where I was using multiple email accounts that were all linked to the same key to both send and receive the test messages.


Getting messages from people/email accounts not tied to my personal key appeared to clean this up completely, including working with both BBSmart and Jive Talk. Sounds like one of the most common computer problems -- user error!

Also, kudos to the developer for being open to listen to what I was experiencing and not dismissing it as out of line. That attitude and approach to doing business/writing software is outstanding! This is good stuff.
