Hosted Exchange provider "Lanlogic" had a server fail this week leaving 600+ users without email. It's now THREE DAYS latter, and the server has *still* not been restored.

It appears the initial outage was compounded by lack of a recovery plan and general incompetence. Instead of recovering from backups (which they may not even have?) they chose to try and repair a corrupted database. In the process they put the sever back on-line (bad idea) before they had restored data which wiped the users cached content in Outlook.

If you're looking for a hosted provider, I would not recommend Lanlogic.

I have zero to gain from saying this, other than I am a fan and customer of theirs (they have no affiliate program either, so I get zero dollars from telling you I use them). Look them up, they are a great company, great service, great rates.

I've spoken to them and I'm considering their service. Do you have direct experience with them? Are you a user of their service?

I'm a link2exchange customer. I've been with them for about a year, and they do good work. If you're a MAC user, they can deal with Entourage+wireless sync with your MAC.

I have ExchangeMyMail and have been extremely happy with them. I've heard good things about Link2Exchange as well.

I have been with ExchangeMyMail and Link2Exchange. I stuck with Link2Exchane for 2 reasons: they helped me get my Mac to sync when EMM would not, and they have 24hr phone tech support, and EMM does not.
