Default Gmail, Delivered Notification?!

Please Login to Remove!

Ok, I'm a newb and trying vigurously to figure out if I'm going to keep the 8830 which I think will. Anyways, here's an issue I'm having.

If I send an email FROM my gmail account THROUGH/FROM the 8830, I get an email in my gmail account that says "Delivered:[SUBJECT] Your message was delivered to the recipient."

The interesting thing is that I do not get this email in my BlackBerry, just in my gmail account. How do I get rid of this? It's irritating to have a new email sitting in the gmail every time I send one from the 8830.

This is different than the sent items filter which I've already setup. =)

Good gawd I love this site. =)

And with my new 8830, I think I'll be able to check it out pretty regularly. BTW, at lunch today my co-workers and I stopped at the Apple store to check out the iPhone.

From a design perspective, pretty nice. But man, web surfing was a little difficult and I can't see myself typing messages by poking the glass screen.

I had a PPC-6700 and there is no way I would ever go back to a touch screen IMHO. And yes this site rocks.

That read receipt in your GMail box normally shows up on the BB as a small "R" above the checkmark next to your sent mail.

For the icons on my phone, I have 4 different icons. An icon for my gmail acct, my work email, SMS text messages, and then one for Messages. What is the point of the messages icon? The messages icon will leave a message for ALL incoming mail, and all mail that I have sent out. Even though I follow these directions:
Goto Messages>Menu>Options>Email Settings
Select Messaging Services: "Gmail account"
Confirm Deliver = NO
*** My phone still sends me a message of All the emails I sent out ***
What am I doing wrong?

Do you have any rules setup in your BB for gmail. When you send a email from gmail not from gmail or outlook the BB will get that message you sent. Set a rule up to filter that out within the site. Let me know if I make no sense.

Check that out...

Default To CDW5510: Thanks in advance for your help!

What is the website to create filters, so that my BB will not send me a copy of all emails i send out? I have only made change settings within my phone. Is there a BB internet service website or something?

This is an old thread, but I'm having a problem with this as well. Whenever I reply in Gmail to an email that was sent to me FROM a Blackberry, Gmail sends a delivery confirmation of my reply saying "Your message was delivered to the recipient." I have Delivery Confirmations turned OFF on all accounts on my blackberry and these aren't even emails i'm sending from my blackberry. This only happens on emails I send FROM Gmail TO a blackberry. What gives?? One person I write to alot said I am clogging up their inbox with these delivery confirmations and I had no idea I was sending them until now.
