Default Skin Question

Please Login to Remove!

a buddy of mine has the Seido Flex Armor skin for his bold. i love the toughness of this skin, but it looks like seido does not make it for the 8900. i was looking into the Incipio Dermashot skin for the 8900. anyone have this skin and do you like it? basically, what i am looking for is a thick skin. much thicker than the usual silicone skins. any suggestions?

Default Skins

Hi all!

I am wondering if you all prefer the skins to the hard shells? I just got my 8900 and I'm not sure which to get.

Thanks!

That's a tuff one because the hard shell popped apart on my Pearl when it dropped don't know how much protection diff. there is in a skin. But as in another thread I'm wanting to upgrade but .......I'm hard on phones, drops, seatbelt rips clip apart, etc. you name it.....don't know if the Jav is as tuff as the Pearl, which upon looking at it is pretty scared, chipped and battle weary but still works.......ha...ha..ha..

I would recommend a skin (at least a screen cover, if not full-body), whether or not you use a hard case or holster. The BestSkinsEver (bestskinsever.com) are great. Full-body (back and sides) is around $8, and 2 screen-only skins are about $7 or so. These things last for years. I use mine with a BSE and a thin leather Vaja case, but any case will fit with an invisible skin on it. This ensures that the screen is protected.
