Default Does this look genuine (sim free)?

Please Login to Remove!

Hello!

I'm hoping you guys can help me out please.

I'm with the 3 network in the UK, and really want the BlackBerry Storm. I'm still tied into a contract with 3 and think they're actually good, so I don't particularly want to change.

I've found via Google a "sim free" BlackBerry storm - because I'm new to this forum I cannot submit the link, but I'll do my best:

buy-mphone.com/
acatalog/blackberry-storm_sim_free (removethis)
.html

Does this look genuine to you? I haven't seen any other sim free storms?

I just want this to be a genuine sim free, unbranded and unlocked Storm that isn't going to go wrong if it gets updated because it's not a genuine sim free phone?

Thanks for any advice.

Buy Blackberry 9500 (Storm) SIM Free

Seems genuine enough but I have never come across them before. You chould check the companies register (google) and if all is well there then.....

I know of no other company that is selling the storm unlocked and sim free as yet. Others may know of some though.

Storms on Ebay UK have been going for around £300 - £350 (locked but you can unlock) in the run up to christmas so they may be worth a look too.

Buying a BlackBerry off eBay - BlackBerryFAQ

3 UK do not have any blackberry tariffs as yet but they should have some when then launch the Bold. They were supposed to launch in Novemeber but I beleive that this has been put off until the new year.

Hi there, thanks for your reply

Yeah, that's what I thought too

To be honest, I cannot find anything bad about that company.

I'd prefer to buy from somewhere like that rather than eBay as I just feel it's a little safer. It's just, like you, I hadn't seen it sim free elsewhere.

Any other comments / experiences before I take the dive and buy it?

I've already emailed them to check that it's a genuine sim free, unbranded and unlocked phone - rather than just an unlocked one that is likely to go wrong when updated.

Thanks again
