Default Pearl OS Question

Please Login to Remove!

I recently just purchased a Pearl off ebay that is locked to T-Mobile. I have paid to have it unlocked just waiting for my code. The company I work for uses the 8700 from Cingular so I thought I would load their OS on my phone. I followed the instructions on how to wipe the OS and got it working. My question to who all view this in the forum is...
When I turn the phone it still shows T-Mobile. My understanding was that the Cingular OS would change that. How do I remove all the T-Mobile stuff from the phone? Will that go away once the phone is unlocked?
Any help would be appreciated!!

You cannot change the splash screen. It is hardcodded into the board's software. There is no way to change this.

Making it look like a Cingular device is only possible as a Theme, ad you can search this forum to figure out how to do that.

No, the flash startup screen remains, regardless of the OS installed.
