Make sure you're using Palm Desktop 4.1.4 (I think that's the right version number) and then use the device switcher in Desktop Manager.

Default .vcs files

Is there anyway for the bbpearl to read .vcs files? I just bought my wife a treo 650 and cannot open the .vcs calender attachments she sends. Unfortuantly it is operating on Palm software not windows, so I'm not that familiar with it. I tried looking at the palm forums but no luck.

If I hadn't just bough the treo, my answer would be to buy her a pearl, or give her the pearl and buy myself a new bb!!

Thanks!!

Default New to BlackBerry

I am currently using an unlocked Palm Treo680 - its frozen suddenly. I am considering an unlocked NokiaE71 or unlocked BlackBerrry Bold. Problem is my service provider does not support BlackBerry. I host my corporate email accounts on an independent email hosting site. Questions: 1) can I get my emails on the BlackBerry even if the service provider does not support Black Berry? 2) Can I use the Blackberry Instant Messenger? 3) I use Outlook 2007 as my desktop client and hotsync with that regularly - any problems in synchronizing? Any suggestions between the E1 and BB Bold? - Thanks
