I've got a Cingular 7290 that has a couple of issues:

a) the calendar is extremely slow; takes about 4 seconds to come up after clicking in; navigating from day to day is a 4 sec. ordeal and week to week is a good 10s. Checked memory and plenty free.

b) using os 3.8.0.139 I want to upgrade to os 4 but all downloads are for PC; any suggestions?

c) using PocketMac 3.12 with Mac OS 10.4.3 and it's not synching with iCal. Though they claim they have a fix, it still ain't working AND they have the worst support on the planet--btw, I purchased the $20 per incident support. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

As much as I hate to say it do you have access to a PC? Regardless you'll need so to upgrade the OS to 4.0 and do a proper backup both not possible yet with PoketMac. I had a similar issue with iCal sometime back, do you run M$ Entourage? See if you can sync with that Cal?
