I usually use the push e-mail only but this info may have me reconsider. Thank you.

Why on earth did Gmail Mobile 2.0.6 shrink their icon in half?

I was wondering the same thing, and waiting to see if anyone else commented on it! Looks like a glitch to me.

It does look a little pathetic compared to all the rest.

I don't know about buster, but I prefer the Gmail app to the integrated push email. Gmail app has search, access to labels, threaded conversations, basic offline good enough to write mail while offline and access to all of my contacts. Chat history too.

I keep a push account set up for my main business address (Gmail Apps account) where the instant notification is an actual benefit, but for all other mail I use the Gmail app.

Here's a better link to Gmail Mobile 2.0.6 with the large icon. Download from your BB hxxp://m.google.com/app/v2.0.6/L1/BlackBerry-42/GoogleMail.jad?dc=gorganic

I will fully agree with you. I was just wandering if I'm the only one who feels that way. The only thing i would like to see improved with the gmail app is to have more frequent pulls

Yeah, amen to that. You only ever hear rumors from Google, but word has it that they are working on that.

I would like to see a feature added to show the number of new messages next to each address when you pull up the address menu. No rumors about that one.

Your description is exactly what 2.0.6 does. When you click accounts, Gmail Mobile shows how many new emails are unread.

Hmm, it doesn't do that for me. I will look in to it and maybe reinstall.
