If any one wants to remove the sample media from the Tour you must do so by deleting it from your PC from the OS. Just deleting it from the BB will just replace it once you do a re-set or a battery pull.

These are the two files which need to be removed from the JAVA Folder in the OS once loaded to your PC.

net_rim_bb_medialoader_9630 "Music"

net_rim_bb_medialoader_video_9630_480x360 "Video"

Thank you. I did learn that the hard way. Sort of. Anything else to dump?

And it frees up some memory. I always get rid of the VAD, don't really use it and for me it really doesn't work that well.

Looks like "net_bb_medialoader_backgrounds_9630" will delete the preinstalled wall papers also.

Wow, deleting the video frees up almost 7MB and deleting the wall papers frees up 3.2MB. Not bad at all.

How do you do this? Through the Desktop manager?

Could someone walk me through how to delete those files. Would love to free up the space. Thanks
