Just got my firt blackberry today. trying to figure out how to set it so my phone number does not apear on another phone or blackberry when I call out. So it shows as 'private' or something.

Also, how do I set up my blackberry as a modem for my laptop?

thanks

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8700/4.2.1 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

Check out the BBFAQ for modem use.

I believe if you press phone button then press berry button select options then general options you can select show number or not show
