Does anyone know what this log line means?

[40429] (09/28 01:53:39.155):{0x1464} {Jo Bloggs} OTAC slow sync, setting next sync for 6/10/2007, auto sync interval=7 range=14

It seems to suggest that slow syncs are periodically scheduled. Is it possible to modify this schedule?
