Default Anyone get this message on Tmob?

Please Login to Remove!

I got a message from tmob today at noon, said I can get some free upgrade for the Pearl if I go to my-tmobile from my pc (link didn't work on the BB). I went there and found nothing. There was no email on the pc. Anyone know what this is about?

They're sending the message out to T-mobile customers who got their Pearl with the .42 version, letting them know that they released the .64 version and you can upgrade. The latest is still Cingular's .69.

Exactly. They send those messages for any phone that requires an upgrade.

Got the text, both the OS and the desktop upgrade have already been out for awhile. Guess they are just slow to get the message out.

??

Check your version of OS again (unless of course you just got the 8100 than maybe they already update it for you)

The older version OS of the 8100 by T-mobile does not support the 2 gb card. You need to update it to get 2gb support.

Did you upgrade or did it come with that version already?

When you go to that site, check the Desktop software choice. I downloaded it the other day and it was 161 megs.

That is whats new not the software for the Pearl. That the same as my phone came with.

I got a phish email telling me howto order the "new pearl release". It wanted me to log into my TMO site and "upgrade"

I reported it through gmails phishing thing as the links in the email were for sure fraudulant. Like those ebay phish emails.

Go back to the site and check the Desktop software selection. It is what is new not the software for the Pearl. The file is a large 161 meg download.

That must be different as if you just went to the Tmobile site it mentioned manually you would see the update available.
