I have a computer at home and at the office. I want to keep the same calendars and contacts on both computers and my blackberry. Is it possible to sync with both computers?

Wirelessly posted (8700g: BlackBerry8700/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

Absolutely, it will work fine. Your BB will be somewhat of the "go-between". But set Desktop Manager to notify you of conflicts (conflicting data when you update or sync) so you can manually choose which updates which, if you are entering data, contaxts and calendar items in all three devices.
Good luck with it.

Are you attached to a BES at either end? If so, you need to make sure that you don't install with the BES option on the "other" PC unless it has access to the BES server.

if your on a bes and dont setup bis on other pc not linked to bes kiss wireless snyc good bye and go through enterprise activation again.. but with the latest version of DM its not so bad.. with the older you would have to call the BES admin and do a OTA ent activation with new password.. pain in the ass... love the new DM

If you are using MS Exchange set your home Outlook to sync with your work server. When you sync your BB the main data file will always be up to date with no conflicts.

Default Man, I need a BES security tutorial

OK -- HELP!

I have an 8800 on BES. I use it at work with my work computer with Outlook and MS Exchange Server. At home, I want to hook up to my home computer just so I can transfer media files and charge the device.

I do not want email to be impacted at all by hooking up at home.

I tried installing DM4.2 and hooking up my 8800 to my home PC. DM complained about email redirection needing a new encryption key and made me move the mouse to generate a new key, and now it cannot send email through BES. I am assuming that I need to go through enterprise activation again.

What did I do wrong?

Thanks
